Editor’s Note: John has a passionate interest in photography and is a member of 2 camera clubs. He undertakes a large amount of nature photography, particularly of birds. He has combined travel with his interest in photography. He uses Nikon equipment and has owned a variety of DSLR bodies. Some of the pictures shown here were taken patiently from hides with long focal length lenses such as the 600mm f/4 and the 400mm f/2.8.
