This year’s competition received just under 100 entries and a special thanks go to all Milngavie Week and MBCC Committee Members, together with Wilson Blakey and judge Eleanor Barron, for making this event such a success. Prints of the 10 shortlisted images will shortly be displayed in Tesco Milngavie. The top 3 images were all submitted by MBCC members. 1st Prize went to Andy Gillies with Sparrowhawk Portrait, 2nd prize went to Derek Manson with Night At The Museum and 3rd Prize went to Duncan McCallum with Resting. The Hidden Milngavie Category was won by MBCC Member David Muir with Higher Beings Over Mugdock. The Under 16 Category was won by (MBCC Related Member) Logan Healy, aged 8. (Jack’s Grandson). His image was Tulip In Front Of The TV. The 5 shortlisted images sitting outside the 5 winners were Drookit by Neil MacGregor, Great Owl Peaking by Derek Manson, Mugdock Swan by Walter Ritchie, Puffin Confab by Peter Grant, and Sun-Kissed Grape Hyacinth by Andy Gillies.
