George Robertson takes MBCC to new heights at the 2023 Amateur Photographer Of The Year Awards
This year’s APOY awards attracted more than 12,500 entries submitted by around 2,500 photographers from around the world. One of these 2,500 photographers was our very own George Robertson. George won merit awards in 5 of the 10 categories, namely Black & White, Travel, Action, Landscape and Macro. Out of the 2,500 global entrants George finished 73=. Thanks to George’s efforts MBCC finished 19= on the overall club leaderboard and the 2nd highest ranking club in Scotland. If these results can be achieved by George alone, then let us see what we can achieve as a club next year by joining George in his marvellous efforts.
