Neil MacGregor Does It Again!

Great News – Yet another APOY 2025 shortlisting for Neil, This time with Creel Boats At Dawn , St Andrews Bay submitted in the eighth (latest) of ten categories within the APOY competition.  The image was taken with an exposure of around 1 sec @ f11 with a little ICM to give the streaking effects of the creel boats lights. The image can be viewed as the 1st 2026 entry in our National Recognition Section.

Annual Black & White Competition 2025/6 – Results

Our Annual Black & White Competition of the season took place at the Club on 6th January 2026. Congratulations go to Stephen Phillips for winning the print competition with Contemplation-Sarah and, in respect of the PDI competition, congratulations go to Isobel MacLeod with Curiosity Framed In Zimbabwe. A special thanks go to judge Ken Lindsay for his critique and adjudication on all the prints and PDIs on the evening. Final Call For 3rd League Competition

David has kindly extended the closing date for the above until Friday 9th January. The competition will take place on Tuesday 27th January when our judge will be Gordon Rae from Lockerbie

Camera Club Exhibition 2026

As previously intimated by Malcolm, David & Mick  entries for our Milngavie Reservoirs Exhibition – From Source to Storage – will close at the end of the month to allow us time to prepare for the exhibition.
