Peter Grant

I have been taking photographs for around 40 years and have been a member of the club since 1989. My main interest is in landscape photography, and I particularly enjoy coastal landscapes. However, I will have a go at anything that looks as if it will make a good picture. In recent years I have dabbled in nature photography, but I have a long way to go before I come up to the standards of some other members of the club. Since I retired around 18 months ago I have had more time to enjoy my hobby and I hope that this is reflected in my pictures. My favourite place for photography is Harris in the Western Isles, with its unrivalled beaches, white sands and turquoise waters.
