As previously intimated by Malcolm, David & Mick entries for our Milngavie Reservoirs Exhibition – From Source to Storage – will close at the end of the month to allow us time to prepare for the exhibition. In order to make this viable we will need a good response so we can select 25 images for the exhibition. This was our end of session Christmas social event at the Club incorporating an excellent quiz compiled by Ian Watt. A bit thanks you to all members who donated a wealth of drinks, snacks, home baking, biscuits, and confectionary for the evening.
Congratulations to George Robertson for attaining Artist of the Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (AFIAP) at the SPF Digital Championship 2025 at Dunblane in November.
In addition to Neil, George has also gained an Expert Shortlisting for In Flight Refuelling in the penultimate category of the year – Animal Kingdom. Well done George! The picture is also displayed in the National Recognition Section and here.
George Robertson presented to the Club on the 9th. His talk titled A Walk on the Wild Side portrays photographing a snow shoe expedition through the arctic Tundra in winter with some spicy and challenging weather conditions. He rounded off his presentation with excellent images of the artwork associated with the Stockholm Underground,
Congratulations to Neil MacGregor for gaining 4 Expert Shortlistings in the penultimate category of this years APOY 2025 – Animal Kingdom. His 4 images are now included in the National Recognition section of this website and can also be viewed here
Our 2nd Competition of the season took place at the Club on 25th November 2025. Congratulations go to Norman McNab for winning the print competition with Autumn Shower and in respect of the PDI competition, congratulations go to Fiona Bryden with Recession.
