Elaine has made a few updates to the current syllabus and these can be viewed at the top of the Syllabus Section. On the 3rd March we have presentations from both David Muir and Ian Watt. David’s topic is Travels around Costa Rica capturing some of the sights and wildlife whilst Ian will present on Motoring Around Europe and Beyond. Fiona Bimms will now be unable to present on the 24th March so Elaine will be making efforts to find a replacement topic for this evening.
As Malcolm alluded to at our last meeting we have a Members Showcase Evening on the 14th April. This will be an excellent opportunity for members who do not normally present at the club to showcase their work even if it is only for 5-10 mins. Whilst we encourage members to showcase their particular photographic genres we also encourage presentations on member’s hobbies ( photographic or otherwise ). Within the Members section of the Website we have 2 Sections titled Members Photo Specialisms and Members Hobbies & Interests. We would also encourage all members to visit these Sections and if you would like a short (or longer) presentation on any of the specialisms/interests listed by others we will approach the member(s) concerned with a view to encouraging said presentation. We therefore request that if any of the above is of interest please contact Elaine, Malcolm or any of the committee.
