As mentioned at our Club Meeting on the 17th Lynne Watson has agreed to run this year’s competition on Tuesday 17th March in the temporary absence of David. This will be along a new format from previous years with all voting taking place prior to the event. In order to facilitate this, Lynne wishes that all members make themselves familiar with the following instructions:
Members can enter up to 4 digital images via Photoentry, please note the change of closing date to Tuesday 3rd March. Photoentry is now open for entries. (Entry rules haven’t changed. Images must have been taken between 1st Jan 25 and the date of hand-in and not used in any format in any previous club competition)
Members will be sent a link to Photoentry after the closing date to allow them to view all the entries at their leisure at home. Members will thereafter select their top or favourite 3 images.
Send you votes to robertsimpsontrophy@gmail.com, where your votes will be logged and counted. All votes must be in by the closing ‘polling date’ of Tuesday 10th March. Please do not send your votes to any other club email. Don’t forget you cannot vote for your own images!
We will run a slideshow of all the images on the evening of the 17th and each member that has entered images will have the chance/option to talk very briefly about 2 of their images. We don’t anticipate we will have time for everyone to talk about all 4 of their images.
We will then reveal the top 10 images, then the top 3 images and the ultimate Trophy winner.
