A huge congratulations to David Muir and George Robertson who shared 4 Short listings in the Black & White Round of the 2026 Amateur Photographer Of The Year Competition. David had 3 short listings with Lighting The Void, Wemyss Bay Railway Station (multiple exposure) and Bright Spark (composite) whilst George landed a short listing with Labyrinth. Not only do these entries further improve our impressive start to the competition but Round 2 heralded a record number of MBCC members entering, many for the first time. In addition to our stalwart FAB 4 ( Lynne, David, George & Neil) we had entries from, Ian English, Denis, Richard, Jack and our ‘very new’ member Christine Cormack. Onwards & Upwards!
