George Lifts AFIAP Award at Dunblane
Congratulations to George Robertson for attaining Artist of the Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique (AFIAP) at the SPF Digital Championship 2025 at Dunblane in November.

In addition to Neil, George has also gained an Expert Shortlisting for In Flight Refuelling in the penultimate category of the year – Animal Kingdom. Well done George! The picture is also displayed in the National Recognition Section and here.
Our very own George Robertson will present on the 9th. His talk titled A walk on the wild side portrays photographing a snow shoe expedition through the arctic Tundra in winter with some spicy and challenging weather conditions.

Our 2nd Competition of the season took place at the Club on 25th November 2025. Congratulations go to Norman McNab for winning the print competition with Autumn Shower and in respect of the PDI competition, congratulations go to Fiona Bryden with Recession. This was our 2nd League Competition for prints and PDIs. We were delighted to welcome Judge Robert Collie (Ayr) who presided over the evening. Results and images will appear on the website on Thursday 27th November.
As previously mentioned the Club will be running a themed exhibition in the Campsie Gallery, Mugdock Country Park in March to April 2026. The theme – From Source to Storage – The Reservoir’s Connection – is detailed in the Competitions Section of the Website (2025/6) together with a document giving some information about the Gallery itself.
