This was our 2nd League Competition for prints and PDIs. We were delighted to welcome Judge Robert Collie (Ayr) who presided over the evening. Results and images will appear on the website on Thursday 27th November.
As previously mentioned the Club will be running a themed exhibition in the Campsie Gallery, Mugdock Country Park in March to April 2026. The theme – From Source to Storage – The Reservoir’s Connection – is detailed in the Competitions Section of the Website (2025/6) together with a document giving some information about the Gallery itself. Colin Boag is the latest member to create a Profile in the Gallery Of Members in the password protected area of the website. He is a Nikon user and his main interests and hobbies include Sea Kayaking, Cycle Touring, Hill Walking, Journeying and History
On the 18th we were delighted to welcome back to the club world renowned landscape photographer and author Colin Prior. Colin will talk about his travels in Bhutan and his new project – his 10th and final book www.colinprior.co.uk
Congratulations to David Muir for gaining an Expert Shortlisting as APOY 2025 moves into its final weeks. His image Kelpies In Transition is an excellent capture within this latest theme – Night & Low Light. It can now be viewed in all its glory here at the top of the National Recognition Section
This was a Members Night where Club members showcased their images from a set theme of their own choice.
Malcolm Lindsay is the latest member to create a Profile in the Gallery Of Members in the Members Area. He is a Hasselblad and Canon user. Amongst his photographic interests is the buying, research and selling of photographic collections. Key to this is a 25,000 archive of negatives and magic lantern slides mainly dating from the early 20th century and even before. Welcome to the Club Malcolm!
